Course Summary
This course is a continuation of Math 126. The focus is mostly on integration in multiple variables. We discuss double and triple integrals; gradients and directional derivatives; line and surface integrals; and the theorems of Green, Stokes, and Gauss. In the second half of the course vector fields will play a key role -- the amazing rendering to the left (credit: writer of the Houdini Gubbins blog) is an example of such a vector field.

The Math Study Center (COM B-014) is open this summer for 300-level courses, despite what the link may say! Summer hours are from 11:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday. The MSC opens for summer quarter Tuesday, June 19th. Please take advantage of the MSC -- there will be tutors available to answer questions on homework problems you may feel are unclear, and can offer a different perspective on the material we are covering. Please note that *Clue is closed over the summer!
